The 3rd time I used the machine, the start-string broke off inside the body. It was sent to Ryobi to fix as it was shortly after the purchase. At first they sent it back without repairing. After complaints they did fix it. The VERY first time I used it after it being returned, the string broke off at the pulling handle._x000D_ I live far from a city. On the previous occasion the whole fixing saga took 6+ weeks. I don't know when I'll be going to a city again, and soon nobody words as it is the end of the year, so it looks like I won't be able to get this fixed early next year. In total I have used the machine on 3 occasions!_x000D_ Over the past 20 years I rented chain saws and never had any problems. I though having my own will save me trouble, but no! _x000D_ Don't buy this!

Great economy and power.
Was using mine on medium to larger trees with reasonable effort. Not as loud as you may expect. Priced well.
