Don’t be discouraged if you don’t hear the heartbeat. It took me a few tries to find baby’s heartbeat. Once you hear that little fast beat.. in your own home.. nothing can describe that feeling. I must however add that I only did this after 18 weeks. And also my baby would shift a lot so the heart isn’t always on the same spot.

Works Perfect after week 18
I started using the doppler at 10 weeks... way to early 😂 I could pick up the heart rate for slight moments but was not able to hear anything up until week 18, now I find the hear beat so fast and hear it load and clear!! Use the ultrasound gel that you buy separately.

Good but depends on each person
It takes a while to find the heartbeat. If your placenta is anterior you won’t find a heartbeat up until far after 20 weeks.
