Lifespace Portable Charcoal Braai with Dome Lid & Carry Bag

Absolutely brilliant. More than impressed with my mini tabletop braai. The fan works a charm and the lid is super helpful. Ive cooked a huge variety of veg and meat, even a mini garlic bread. Cleaning is very simple. So pleased I didnt choose a gas braai.

Uses very little charcoal (i didn't have briquettes). One filled container provided enough heat for chops, sausage and to toast marshmallows for four people. I used it outside (first time using it), there was no smoke when braaing the sausage, but with the dry rub spiced chops, there was smoke. But not so much once the lid was on. I dont really like the taste that cast iron provides, so I'll try and get a steel grid instead. The fan helps, but its only one speed and I used brand new batteries but they provided very little power, so i used a power bank instead & it worked well. We also lined the inside bowl with foil, so it was easier to clean. We didn't put any veg in the bowl, but if you are going to, best to cover them in foil.

Convenient

We enjoyed our quick braai with this light-weight product. Used 6 pieces of a charcoal for a pack of boerewors and a piece of fish. Not too much smoke for a balcony. Cleaning the dome was easy. Only issue is that the battery case doesn’t close well
